Another shot from the Cadillac room, soon to be the man cave.
Larry has lots of Cadillac things, but this is probably one of our most special. I struck up a friendship with a lady in Australia who owns a 1957 Cadillac because, at the time, I owned a 1957 Cadillac. This was back in the day before inter-net was common and we wrote back and forth for years. She's been to visit us twice and during one visit brought us this license plate from her car. It's a rare thing to have here in the States -- and we cherish it. It will definitely be going back on the wall in the man cave. (January 14, 2010)
"Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art.... It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things that give value to survival."
~~ C.S. Lewis
Interesting side note for car buffs: my friend is a member of two clubs in Australia and when she drives the Caddy with the Caddy club, she has to use this plate; but then she has another license plate that she has to put on the car when she goes on an outing with the other club!
