This is what is known as the Emert home place, where John Redman and Mary Jane (Bohanan) Emert moved to from the Bohanan log cabin. As far as we can guess, the house was built in about 1895. Throughout the years, until Aunt Gypsy's death in 2000, the home remained in the family. This is where the Emert family reunion was held in 2000.
