The Emert Family of Sevier County, Tennessee : Carole's paternal grandmother was Nannie Blanche Emert and her are some photos from the Emert side of the family tree.

Carole's grandmother was Nannie Blanche Emert (King), Blanche's father was John Redman Emert, his father was James Daniel Emert, his father was Frederick Sanders Emert, his father was Philip Emert, who was a son of Frederick E. Emert, who was in the Revolutionary War and settled in what is now known as Emert's Cove, Sevier County, Tennessee.

The Emert Family of Sevier County, Tennessee

The King Family of Sevier County, Tennessee : Carole's paternal grandparents were Brad and Blanche (Emert) King. They had nine children, and when Blanche died in 1996, there were 31 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Needless to say there are plenty of photos from a family this size!

In order to try and keep everyone straight, we'll refer to them by their relationship to Brad and Blanche (a.k.a. Papaw and Granny).

The Maddron / McMahan Family of Sevier County, Tennessee : These are pictures of some of the daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren of Orville and Beulah (Eslinger) Maddron. To make it a little easier, we'll refer to everyone as they relate to Orville (Papaw) and Beulah (Mamaw), i.e.: daughter, grandchild, etc.
